Zena’s Story

The Dog Who Started It All

Zena was found on the streets of Tijuana in December 2019, pregnant, nearly hairless, and in rough shape. But even then, there was light in her eyes. Still hope.

4 Dogs Farm Rescue saw that spark and gave her a second chance. She had her puppies (all adopted!), and spent nearly 12 months recovering with a loving foster family in Mexico. Through Embark DNA testing, we even met one of her pups who had been adopted locally — a crazy small world moment!

On November 8th, Zena came to her forever home.

She’s been inspiring people, and other dogs, ever since.
